May 20, 2019 - Many improvements to our NBTS facilities are visible and worthy of a visit. For example, the beach facing side of the Narragansett's Phase I has been re-shingled from the ground up past the third floor and the old shrubs in front of it have been replaced. Work on the pool has made significant progress as a new deck is in the process of being laid down, new pool tiles have been ordered and are about to be installed and new gunite will soon be applied. (see photos elsewhere on site)

July 4th fireworks held in front of the Narragansett once again
July 04, 2018
The Annual Kennebunk and Kennebunkport fireworks sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce was held once again on the night of July 4 on the rocky outcropping known as Oakes Point right in front of the Narragansett by the Sea. Many observers were overheard to say that these were the best yet even though they started more than 20 minutes late at 9:22 pm. As usual, Beach Ave in front of the Narragansett was blocked from traffic. All Narragansett residents and their guests were watching from their decks, the swimming pool, or from the lawn. No matter where you were stationed, the view was exceptional and the weather was perfect.

The Narragansett has been seriously spruced up this Spring. Building 2 has new hallway lighting and new shrubbery , trees, and lawn surrounding it. The Building 1 elevator has oak paneled walls, new lobby carpeting, and a new front door. The pool water is now heated with efficient heat pumps in place of the old propane system. The July 4th, '15 fireworks in front of the Narragansett went off without a hitch. The weather was outstanding in the 60's and, with no wind, there was no threat to the fire safety of our buildings
