Flood barrier Permit Approved and Installed

As previously reported, the Town of Kennebunk finally approved out permit application after a lengthy meeting at the town offices. Approval required setting the barrier composed of forty-two 6' long, 3,600 lb blocks 10' back from the Beach Ave asphalt pavement and tying the blocks together with steel cable. The blocks were delivered and installed on December 17,'24 and cabled on the 19th.

It took MJ and 3 others using a crane just 4 hours to set the blocks in place.
